Mexico’s capital and largest city, Mexico City has been growing for more than five centuries. Today it is a megalopolis of 9 million inhabitants that attracts millions of international visitors annually. A colorful city with everything to offer and endless sights, from archeological sites to modern art galleries, colonial buildings to high rises, Mexico City is alive with the hustle and bustle of big city life. As the economic and business capital of Mexico, Mexico City has world-class convention centers and hotels that host major international events like 4th World Water Forum in 2006 in the Banamex Convention Center and the 2010 Global Business Summit for the Environment in Expo Bancomer Santa Fe.

Between the posh and architecturally beautiful neighborhood of Polanco and the awe inspiring Historic Center, the city has over 50,000 quality hotel rooms, 3,500 restaurants and 17 congress and convention centers, including the Hotel Melia Mexico Reforma with 489 rooms and suites and 28 meeting halls for up to 2,880 people. One of the city’s largest convention centers is the World Trade Center, Mexico City, with 11 meeting rooms that can accommodate 50 to 200 people, and 4 major halls that can accommodate up to 2,700 people.

The Mexico City International Airport has direct flights to cities around the globe, including Las Vegas, London, Sao Paulo, New York, Miami and Toronto.

Mexico City is a fabulous place to enjoy pre- and post- event activities, enticing visitors with 150 museums and two restarants in the Top 50 in the World, Pujol and Biko.
